Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Afrodolllight Accuses Zodwa Wabantu of Assault
Zodwa Wabantu is no stranger to controversy, but this time it looks a lil’ more serious … good luck telling that to Mzansi Twitter/X, though, because they definitely do NOT take anything seriously!
ICYDK, there’s this socialite/promoter/hostess by the name of Tebogo Makgoba, AKA “Afrodolllight”. Taking to her Instagram account (which has since been made private), she posted some gnarly pics taken from an alleged encounter she had with Wabantu last weekend:
“I was attacked by @zodwalibram yesterday in Delmas for what I don’t know. I’m so traumatised. She broke my braces and cellphone, I’m so defeated. Zodwa is too old guys [sic],” the textbox in one pic reads.
Entertainment blogger/pot-stirrer extraordinaire, Musa Khawula, hopped onto Twitter/X on Tuesday, 5 November, to give an inside scoop on what (allegedly) happened between Afrodolllight and Wabantu:
Simply put: Wabantu was not vibing with Afrodolllight at some place (presumably a nightclub) in Delmas, Mpumalanga.
So, when Wabantu got into a fight with her boyfriend and the socialite tried to assist her, the 39-year-old entertainer reportedly switched up and directed her wrath on the young lady, resulting in bodily injuries, damaged braces and a broken cellphone.
Y’all would think that tweeps would be sympathetic. A few folks were, but the consensus among the Mzansi Twitter/X population is that Afrodolllight should have stayed out of Wabantu’s business:
As for Wabantu, she has yet to publicly comment on Afrodolllight’s claims.
Until video footage comes to light, most folks are taking the socialist’s words with a grain of salt and mounds of spice. Here’s hoping the truth comes to light, and both parties resolve this matter before it becomes worse.
